Report content or an account

Use this page to tell us about content stored with Mindestro that you believe is illegal, or about an account that breaks our Terms of service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

What we can and cannot see

Notes in the encrypted cloud are encrypted on their owner's devices. We cannot open them, so we cannot check the content itself. We act on what your report tells us and on account information we can see, such as whether an account exists and how it uses the services.

What to include

• The account or device it concerns: an email address, a device name, or whatever you know.
• What is wrong, and why you believe it is illegal or breaks our terms.
• Your name and email address, so we can reply. You may leave out your name if the report concerns child sexual abuse material.
• A statement that you believe the report is accurate and complete.

What happens next

• We confirm that we received your report, and decide on it without undue delay.
• We tell you what we decided and how you can ask us to review it.
• If we restrict or suspend an account, we tell its holder which rule we applied and why, unless the law forbids it, and they can ask a person to review the decision.
• If a report suggests a threat to someone's life or safety, we inform the authorities.
