A local pass needs the built-in model (downloaded above) and never leaves this machine; a Claude pass needs your key. Neither ever falls back to the other on its own.

Nightly housekeeping purges expired trash and re-tunes noisy passes (a pass whose proposals keep getting dismissed quiets itself). It runs at most once a day, in this browser.

Export is a zip of plain .md files, one per note. Import takes .md files or a whole Obsidian vault. Links and frontmatter come along.
